El autor sigue un esquema cronológico, recordando los inicios figurativos del artistas y luego el paso al informalismo en los años 50 para volver una década después a la pintura con elementos escultóricos y eminentemente crítica y comprometida. El paso de los años condujo a Canogar de vuelta a la figuración y después a las fragmentaciones.
