La Carrera de Especialización en Diseño de Mobiliario DIMO se dicta en la Secretaría de Postrado FADU | UBA junto a otras especializaciones propias de la Arquitectura y el Diseño Industrial. Justamente tiene como prioridad el articular esas dos carreras que se dictan en dicha Facultad. Este trabajo fue desarrollado en el marco del Gabinete de Heurística de la Facultad de Arquitectura, Diseño y Urbanismo de la UBA. Su motivación principal fue revisar la naturaleza del actual sistema de formación de los diseñadores, caracterizar los efectos que este sistema produce en los alumnos y profesores y reflexionar sobre la posibilidad de modificar algunas características del quehacer de los docentes formadores.
