Guía a los documentos de (1) la Real Intendencia de Oaxaca, uno de los 12 distritos administrativos del Virreinato de Nueva España inici- ados en 1786, y (2) el Período de la Guerra de Independencia en Oaxaca. La mayoría de los documentos comprenden los años 1786- 1830.

Catalogue of an exhibition organized within the framework of the celebrations for the Bicentennial of the Independence and the Centennial of the Revolution that explore how the national heroes were portrayed in art in the early 19th century. An interesting inclusion is the iconography of national heroes in relation to the sculptures of classic antiquity. The exhibition includes close to 110 pieces including sculptures, paintings, prints, photography, books, manuscripts and some magazines largely produced in the 19th Century in México and Europe.

This anthological edition is a well-deserved tribute on the life work of Bostelmann (b. Mexico), one of Mexico's most noted late 20th century photographers. This photographic retrospective presents his striking b/w photographs of desolated and rainy places, nude figures, the town of Cuetzalan, political meetings, children and his ironic color series (CrÑnica de familia, la vida en breve, gallo). Bostelmann was against what he called the "current use and abuse of digital elements" to enhance photography.
