Para conmemorar el primer centenario del nacimiento de Gaudí, en el año 1952, Joan Bergós i Massó, su discípulo más próximo, escribió la primera biografía de Antoni Gaudí. The present catalogue complements the book "Ignacio Diaz, su pensamiento" and is the result of an exhaustive research in the archive of the Diaz Morales family, examining a large number of documents and selecting for this publication the most representative. The drawings, documents, photographs, plans and elevations of each project are chronologically organized and represent the 7 decades of designs and architectural projects by the noted architect.

This book revolves around the drawings and scale models especially selected by architect Paulo Mendes da Rocha, who was conferred the degree of Doctorate Honoris Causa by the Universidad Nacional del Litoral in 2009. The personal selection done by PMdR resulted in a publishing project that included the participation of a group of academics from Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina convened so that, by means of short texts, freely elaborated their perspective on those drawings.
