El objeto de la presente publicación responde al deseo de evaluar el edificio primigenio del actual Museo del Prado, es decir, el construido por Juan de Villanueva entre 1785 y 1808; un edificio que se proyectaba junto al recién creado Jardín Botánico para albergar su Laboratorio Químico y, finalmente, para acoger así mismo la Academia de Ciencias y el Gabinete de Historia Natural. Architectural study on the religious buildings of collective character built by the Jewish community of Buenos Aires in the 19t and 20th centuries and where the synagogues are the best examples. Their choices of architectural styles or languages responded to the historic moment when these buildings were constructed and respond to the preferences of each group according to their origin or its constructors or architects. The study analyses their morphology, mostly monumental, outside the city limits, and loaded inside and outside with ornaments and visible symbols of Judaism.

This volume focusses on the mosaics and geometric designs from Ecija, the ancient Roman Astigi, the capital of the Conventus Astigitanus, which is one of four conventus iuridici that made the Roman Baetica. En torno a una revista académica, un grupo de profesores de Proyectos de Arquitectura llevamos ya algunos años promoviendo y dando a conocer textos teóricos y críticos acerca de nuestra disciplina, capaces de situar esta actividad en el centro que le corresponde dentro de las actividades de investigación arquitectónica. Y capaces también de divulgar alguna parte de estas investigaciones, producidas sobre todo (aunque no exclusivamente) entre los profesores de la Escuela de Arquitectura de Madrid, sus estudiantes de Doctorado y sus graduados.
