Un día de verano, debajo de un árbol, la hermana de Alicia estaba leyendo un libro. Alicia la escuchaba, pero era un libro muy aburrido. De repente pasó un conejo blanco con levita corriendo y gritando: "¡Se me hace tarde!". Con el pretexto de alejarse de ahí, Alicia siguió al curioso conejo.
