El presente manual está destinado fundamentalmente a los estudiantes de arquitectura, y por extensión a profesionales y técnicos del área del diseño y la construcción de edificios, aportando sugerencias proyectuales y metodologías de simulación y verificación, que facilitan la determinación de pautas y estrategias para el diseño bioclimático y la utilización de energías no convencionales en los edificios y su habitat. Contiene un cd-rom con un paquete de 26 programas informáticos.

La Escuela de Arquitectura de Madrid, en colaboración con el Instituto Juan de Herrera, está publicando, con gran formato y calidad de impresión, una selección de los libros que componen su fondo antiguo. En particular se han elegido aquellos libros notables por la calidad de sus grabados. De esta manera se pretende poner al alcance de los amantes de los libros de arquitectura algunas raras ediciones, a un precio asequible.

Study characterized for the use of new research methods to create an alternative historiography of modern Mexican architecture. Through a self-critical review of the first edition, author De Anda clarifies, broadens and when needed corrects certain concepts and perspectives in relation to his original 1991 edition of "Architecture of the Mexican Revolution".
