This Rookie Espanol: Geografia book introduces young readers to the idea of using maps. The book begins with a look at road maps, city maps, and world maps. Young readers learn that numbered lines represent roads and colored shapes represent land and water. The focus is then on a map of the United States, followed by a look at how some maps show elevation, others feature rainfall, and still others include drawings that tell about the people, animals, and resources of a particular place.
