El poeta Marcial, nacido en Bilbilis (cerca de Calatayud), dio al epigrama carta de ciudadania en la literatura latina como genero literario, incorporando en su escritura la tradicion literaria latina anterior, epigramatica y no epigramatica, configurandolo con la forma que entre nosotros ha quedado como definitiva: la de una composicion breve, incisiva, a menudo satirica y rematada con un rasgo inesperado.

La democracia tiene que ver con todos, incluyendo a los niños. La democracia nos permite, por medio del diálogo, la participación y el voto para que todos podamos vivir en armonía.
